Sifter & Filters for Mineral Industry

Mineral sieving with a vibro sifter uses gyratory vibrations to efficiently separate materials, such as mineral powders and granules, by particle size. The process is a common method in the mining industry for grading and separating raw materials. Multi Tech Engineering Vibro Sifter for mineral sieving operates on the principle of gyratory vibrations generated by a specially designed vertically mounted motor with eccentric weights.

The material (e.g., crushed ore, mineral powder) is introduced into the sifter’s feeding hopper. Once powered on, the motor generates a three-dimensional vibratory motion in horizontal, vertical, and tangential planes. This motion causes the material to travel across the sieve screen in a controlled, spiral path. Particles smaller than the mesh size pass through the screen into a lower collection deck or exit component. Larger particles (oversize material) are retained on the screen surface and discharged through a separate outlet. The separated materials are collected for further processing or packaging. The process can be customized by adjusting the lead angle of the eccentric weights to change the screening pattern, optimizing it for different material properties.
